Rosewood Farms - Breeders of fine Mountain Horses

Located in rural eastern Kentucky, Rosewood Farms has bred and raised fine Mountain Horses for three generations. If you are looking for a great horse for show, breeding, or just trail riding, come see our fine Mountain Horses. We deal in Tennessee Walking Horses, Kentucky Mountain Horses, Spotted Saddle Horses, Spotted Mountain Horses, and Rocky Mountain Horses, and can guarantee you a natural four-beat gait.

We have been experimenting with color for many years and have some very unique examples at the farm. For the past two years our stallion, Dillon's Tin Star, produced 100% roan foals, including a "purple" or bay roan, chocolate roans, and several "blue" roans like himself.

This past summer we were lucky enough to have a perlino born on the farm. Look for pictures of "Luster" on our "Foals" page. You'll also find pictures of "Hill-Billy Deluxe" and "Dream Gleam" , the first palominos born on our farm.

Also look for our special buckskin, Tarnished Rose. She had stripes on her legs when she was born that may indicate that she is a silver grulla. Spring always brings new surprises at Rosewood Farms!
